I have reported this problem several times over the last 2 years, zoho do not appear to be interested to check their programming code to correct this issue.
I have just tried to search to find a company i KNEW i had,
(the default one on the black navigation bar all modules boxes were ticked), it found some notes but not accounts or contacts, in the end i had to use just
one of the words in the company name to help find it, which will bring up other results with the same word in the company name, that was how i found it.
There seems to be an issue with internal timing/archiving, if an account has not been accessed for an unspecified time
YOU WILL NOT FIND IT.
I have been told this by Zoho staff previously which is a disgraceful admission and embarrases zoho's reputation.
Once the account has been found, open it then close it down and go to find the account and typed in the name i originally used in the same fashion as before, the crm
MIRACULOUSLY FINDS IT. This issue has caused me to create no end of
duplicate accounts and has wasted so much of my time considering the amount of fields i have to fill in to save the account.
Issues like these are where zoho should be spending their time not creating new software and designing unnecessary UI's.
My point being; how many accounts show or do not show when i export records, do you see how this can affect the results of your reports and any other area's when i carry out this instruction.
If and when zoho support staff responds please do not reply saying that you "cannot recreate the issue", it is an error in your
programming code only the developers can fault find.
