Search result suggestions: total number of results per category
When I do a search on Zoho it returns the results grouped by category, and limited to 10 per screen. Overall this is pretty nice UI, but one thing that is really missing is knowing what the total number of results in each category is. You can see the first 1-10, and you can click through to see the next 10, and the next...but it would be really helpful to see how many that is going to be without having to click through the entire list. I believe somewhere else in the UI there is a similar function, but if you hover over the 1-10 you are able to see the total number in the list (say 200). I hope this functionality (or similar) can be extended to search results.
Along the same lines it would be helpful to have the option to expand from the truncated search result list to the full list and/or quickly export search results per category. One example of how this would be useful, say I'm going to London and want to take a quick look at all of the contacts I have in London to see who I should try and meet with. I could create a report, but that takes a little time. The other option is just to type London into the search field and see what comes back, which is very quick. The only problem is I don't have a way to see (or sort) the entire list, but am limited to 10 at a time out of what might be a few hundred contacts.
