Hey everyone just wondering the best option for this. I use Zoho CRM to track very basic orders which are all done under contacts. So I have their name address etc, but I also have a credit card number field, expiration and CVV field. Right now I have customers fill out a word document and email it to me and I manually put it in Zoho but I'm thinking a Web to Contact form would make this 100x easier.
I did a test and it does work great but my only thing is that I'm not sure how secure it is to send a form like this online? I'd like a way to secure it but I'm not sure how. I guess my main question is, are the forms secure already? Like can I put a message on my site saying this form will be send through a secure channel etc or is that just lying? Should I have my site use https then to have it be a bit more secure? Just not sure the best options? I'm also the only one that uses Zoho on my team so although the credit card information is out in the open, it's visible only to myself.
