Selected emails won't drag into designated email folder

Selected emails won't drag into designated email folder

For some reason in the past few weeks, any time I select a batch of emails to file under a specific folder, they won't actually drag and drop into the folder. 

If there something going on that is prohibiting this? My inbox count is extremely high because of this.
