the hostedpages don't leave much room for customisations and the alternative would be to serve self hosted ones. I didn't saw any mention about that approach and would like to get feedback from someone who successfully implemented it or from the developers with they thoughts about it.

Having self hostedpages means dealing with the payment ourselves and if successful, create the Subscription through the API. The Subscription will automatically create the Invoice and we could then attach the payment to it and trigger the sending process. All this seems quite complex, but is the only way?
