I have a group (Band Boosters) that have been managing their emails to all band families using private EMail lists in their individual mail clients. People are getting left off constantly and communication is poor at best.
I'm trying to move them to an EMail and Groups tool. I have the most experience with Google Groups, but they cannot afford the subscription. Zoho looks to have the EMail management I need, but I'm a little concerned about Groups management.
Remembering that most group members will not have an email account from our domain and will be "external" group members:
- Can people add themselves to one of the groups (perhaps with moderation)?
- Can people easily unsubscribe from a group?
- Can Moderators submit messages for broadcast without having to manually approve their own post?
