I'm an entertainer, and I sell timeslots for shows. I have a webform in my website that captures potential bookings and puts them in the CRM.
I'd like to trigger a workflow in CRM that will send them a confirmation of booking, and afterwards a pre-show check up email etc., but I want to do it so that I have to authorise the workflow first, either through a manual authorisation or similar. The reason for this is that I need to check my diary manually for availability BEFORE sending out confirmation of booking and all the other emails that go with a confirmed booking.
At the moment, I have it set up so that I must edit the contact for the workflow to trigger, but this feels a little clumsy to me and is at best a workaround.
Is there a better way to do this?
