Sending multiple autoreply emails based on Web-to-Contact

currently, it is only possible to send an one single autoreply to all web-to-contact generated contacts. A nice feature would be sending one of many created email templates based on information contained in the Web-to-Contact. This would enable sending autoreply emails in the a specific language. I think that enabling workflow alert to newly created leads/contacts would also serve to solve this pronlem?
