Sending transactional emails via API and Zoho CRM

Hi, is it possible to leverage EMAIL templates for specific transactional emails via the CRM API? and which plan is required to do so? Objective: Migration from custom built transactional email solution to external provider, ideally within Zoho CRM.
Emails: eCommerce order process related etc.
