Sent mail with attachments

I am trying to find an email with an attachment that I sent to someone in Sept 2013. Looking in the Zoho mail web page I can't find ANY mail back that far. If I use the Mail client on my Mac (I have IMAP set up for Zoho mail) I can find all the emails for that time, but any with attachments are blank, and show a continual "loading" indicator - and they never load.

Does Zoho have a limit on the sent emails that it keeps?
