Is there an easy way to inquire what the highest Sequence number is among all existing records?

I can get a pretty good guess by doing an export of contacts, but my total record count exceeds the 2,000 records I can retrieve in a single report.

I need to be able to be sure I am not overwriting any records with new records I upload.
