Setting up a BOGO coupon code

We'd like to offer select customers a "buy one get one free" ticket offer to our event. Is this possible? 

I tried a workaround that if they purchase 2 tickets, they come up half price, but I don't know how that will work with sending the code to ~12 different companies.
