Setting up a new mailbox for Google

I want to set up a new mailbox in Zoho so GMail is fully synchronised with Zoho

The system seems only to allow pop3 accounts, there is no link for IMAP.

When I try to set up a mailbox for ampers@gmail.com, the boxes are filled in automatically other than password below the first section. I type in the password The system keeps saying the GMail server has rejected the password or user name.

To be on the safe side, I tried it with every permutation for about twenty attempts.

I have tried changing username from ampers to ampers@gmail.com but no use.

I checked with Thunderbird and have noticed that the port there is 993 but Zoho won't accept that port, it has to be 995.

I had problems when I tried a year or two ago so left it. It looks like I might have to leave it for another year or so.

It is very disheartening as the idea seems so good and I would love to write an article about it.
