Setting up automated tasks / call list

Hi - just switching to Zoho from an archaic system.  One thing I was able to do, however, in this old system, was quickly set a followup date, and the system would display a list of contacts on that date.

For example, I leave a voicemail on 3/5, note it, and set the calendar to 3/12.  Then on 3/12, this lead, and all other leads appear.

Should I be setting up a workflow?  What field would trigger this?
