Setting up individuals who are not members of companies

Setting up individuals who are not members of companies

I;m doing a test setup of ZOHO, for a company where 95% of the clients are individuals, not companies.

I need to take a contact list, and assign a task to be associated with a customer [in the contact list] and assign that task to another ZOHO user. 

When I create a task, I see no way of assigning to another user. Also the summary list of Activities does not show the contact name,  only task title and date
