Setting up Prospect Reports that Tally PAST activities

I am trying to create Prospect reports for each of the following:
All Hot, Warm, and Cold Prospects as of the beginning of the month

It seems I set the date filters and ZOHO only allows Created time or modified time, there isn't a field to sort by prospect status changed time.

Is there a workaround for this?

Also am looking for this same functionality for the end of the month tallies.
