Shortcut to calendar on Android?

Shortcut to calendar on Android?

Is there a way to get a shortcut or widget to the calendar placed directly on my android desktop? I like the mobile Zoho mail reader but I like to have one finger press access to the calendar as I want it to completely replace the google calendar. Thanks!
