Welcome to Zoho Cares

Bienvenido a Soporte de Zoho

Search our knowledge base, ask the community or submit a request.

A simple way to engage your user community is to incentivize their participation. Points, levels, badges—though these might not be tangible, they make people feel noticed and appreciated. With Gamescope for Zoho Desk, you can set up these incentives for your user community.

POINTS
Points are awarded to users for performing actions such as posting a topic, voting, and replying. Each type of point can be enabled or disabled, and the value can be changed. Anyone who has permission to edit the Community configuration can make these changes. You can also define custom actions and specify how many points to award for each of these.

LEVELS
Users can level up the more they contribute to the community. This would foster a sense of growth and define the magnitude of their participation. Set up these levels based on points ranges, and associate badges with different levels.

BADGES
Award badges of honour for different achievements your users make by engaging with the Community. Default badges associated with levels and achievements will get you started as you create custom badges related to your Community's setup.

REPORTS
You can see how your users have been faring, with stats on who has accrued what. You can also see comprehensive stats for every user who's on the points table. These are currently available only for custom points and badges, but will extend soon to default ones as well.

Encourage your community to participate proactively by recognizing the time and effort they put in to share their ideas, feedback, and doubts. Foster and nurture your Community.

As always, happy ticketing!

Cheers,
Team Zoho Desk

Gamification is wonderful, powerful community feature. I'm hoping Zoho will see also evolve profiles and other Zoho Desk community functions to be more contemporary. "Community" is the core value of the Internet itself. Providing a help desk and support builds the most powerful communities. Therefore, it stands to reason that the community functions, within Zoho Desk, should rival those of Zoho Connect without the seam between the two products. (I'm referring to the community function(s) allowing us to relate with our users, not *internal*)

This is just my opinion and an offering of an idea to the Zoho Desk team.

What about gamefication for our technicians? For solving incidentes, writing KB articles, etc?

Great idea!

Definitely need Gamification for the Technicians (ZOHO DESK USERS)

I second the vote for gamification for the technicians!

Anybody else want the ability to modify points via the API? For instance, it'd be great to be able to add points for ecommerce purchases, or other actions taken on external systems. (The API has documentation for getting points, but not for adding/substracting. I know points can be added manually, but that wouldn't really work well.)

Hi Brett,

We agree that would help. That is a nice use case. Let me check with our team to know what our plans are and keep you posted.

Hi Brett,

I have just received a positive news from our team. We are already working on an API that would help admin operations for gamification. This would help in modifying points via API based on certain actions. This should be ready for release soon.

Appreciate your patience.

Hi Brett,

Please find the Support API Documentation Url for Gamification(Community) below:

Fantastic! Thanks.

Where can I find this?

Hi Brett,

This is under Community setup. Please go to Setup->Community->Gamification to configure.

Hi All,

We heard all your interests in having the gamification feature included for agents.

This feature is now available in beta and can be availed by Professional, Enterprise, CRM Plus and Zoho One users. You can use this beta request form to submit requests and test the feature.
