Showing Potential fields within Deal in Canvas

Showing Potential fields within Deal in Canvas

  1. In a specified "Potential" record I have a field called "Potential Example 1".
  2. In a "Deal" record I link a "potential" record as related with a value in "Potential Example 1".
  3. I'd like to display the value of this single field "Potential Example 1" inside the linked Deal using canvas. I would like to intermingle this value with the deal fields somewhere.
Can this be done?

PS. I know how to display the entire linked potentials "Related List". This is more a question of how to display a single related field within the other deal fields
