I'm trialling an idea for our CRM and want to know whether something along the lines of the following would be possible.

We currently use a Custom Module named Leads for potential new business.

Ideally, in a scenario where we know a rep is travelling to Lead X, we would like to have a sub-section within Lead X showing other potential opportunities within the area, so as to maximise their potential during the day.

The way I would like to filter this is essentially:

- If the first 2 characters of the postcode of any other lead match the first 2 characters of Lead X

AND

- A specific field in any other Lead is set to (specific value)

Then they would be shown in sub-section within Lead X

I'm thinking this may not be possible without having them actually linked via a lookup or similar, which simply wouldn't be feasible. 

The alternative, if this can't be done, is a custom button within Lead X which would take you to the Leads page and apply a filter 'Postcode must start with (first 2 characters of Lead X)' and 'Specific field must be set to specific value'.

The other field is a set value, but obviously the postcode will be variable from Lead to Lead, so I'm not sure whether the button would allow for this variable.

Is there any way this can be achieved, either by the above or another method?
