A client for whom I'm using the paid version of Creator is frustrated to the point he wants me move to DabbleDB– a move I'm reluctant to make because I think Creator is a better long-term solution to his needs. Our problem is a two-day old inability – even with Zoho’s very courteous support – to import into an existing application a two-thousand row Excel file. I've tried both the file import and cut and paste options of the web interface, as well as the migration tool. The excel file is good, because it loads perfectly into the Zoho Report application, and Zoho support says they were able to use the migration tool to load the data into my application. (Unfortunately they erased the data and have not yet been able to reload it so that I may continue working on the project.) As I say, Zoho support has been responsive and courteous, but not helpful. I've done everything they said I should do with respect to conforming the Excel file with the Deluge script, but all of my import efforts fail (they just seem to hang without any progress or error messages). Any suggestions would be really appreciated. And once again, part of my frustration is that I am genuinely impressed with the Creator application (once data are loaded <gr>). Thanks very much.
