Signing Up

Ok So I started with the Free 3 User. I downloaded over 500 contacts and came in this morning to only 57.

1. Why?

2. When and if I upgrade should I just re-download

3. When you download in professional does it weed out duplication or show you the duplicate contact/name/account etc.,??
