It would be great to have a similar feature in the desktop view. It would hugely tidy up the interface. We all have a ton of records that have empty fields and it's a pain to go through and setup rules for everything.

- Switch to Smart View: Only show fields with data

- Switch to Full View: Show all fields as per layout & layout rules.

Yes, it would probably cause some people confusion so maybe set permissions on it so only a profile can view!
