Some documents & all sheet documents not showing on desk

Hi,

Is there some sort of tag, or do I have to add or some other setting to get all of my documents to show on the desktop tab for zoho business? I have none of my sheet documents showing and only a few of my writer documents are showing. One common thread with all of the documents that are not showing is that they are shared read only with other people. Do I have to add my self to the share list? The documents do show up when I open sheet or writer.
