I am gradually migrating from google apps free to Zoho in case google ever pulls my old free grandfathered plan. I went onto my gmail and sent a test email to my new zoho email (which is all operational) and it took an abnormal amount of time to receive that email, maybe 15-20 mins or more. Other emails I sent had gone through just fine but it took ages for one of them to show up in Zoho. What was likely the reason?

Another issue is I have set up IMAP access to my gmail so that I can get my old email address to get emails all from within Zoho and one email never showed up. It was an update from a news outlet and I could see it in my gmail account in the inbox, yet it never, ever arrived in Zoho. I checked spam etc and all other folders but that email never arrived. What is the likely reason behind this?

I never had these issues before. I am hoping that my low cost Zoho service is also reliable. I heard it is reliable but these weird things in the early days are a little bit concerning. Plus I read a review on your android app and someone said they had to cancel a flight because a particular email never arrived in their account that they needed to receive.

I would appreciate any thoughts and insights on these receiving issues. My Zoho was all set up by middle of yesterday GMT and I have all DNS records set up and functional SPF/DKIM/DMARC/MX etc. Most of my emails seem to be working, but I would appreciate some guidance on what is going on.
