Sort Using Date & Time Fields in Reports
Sometime back, a friend of mine using Zoho CRM tried creating a report. In her report she wanted to get a list of leads generated from different sources on a given date. She wanted to use the values of these two fields:
Lead Source and
Lead Created Time.
But there was a problem, the report was not generated as expected. The Lead Created Time, being a Date & Time field in Zoho CRM, did not group the records by day.

For those who face the same kind of scenario with the Date & Time fields, you can now use them and generate reports, exactly as you want it to be. So how can it be done?
We have now provided the options in the Matrix reports, to group the Data & Time fields by Date, Month & Year and Calendar Year.
You can specify the option to sort records with this which is available for row headers and column headers in reports.
