Sound Alarm for Events

Is it possible to set up an audible alarm that will sound when an appointment is due. Say, like 1/2 hour before, and have it sound on my phone. I am out in the field a great deal and I have missed some appointments because of this.I have the mobile version installed on my Droid but do not see a way to set an audible alarm.
