Spaces between words disappear

Whenever I import a document (Word-doc) or whenever I copy and paste some text from such a document, there are a lot of lines (perhaps every 4th or 5th) in which the spaces between the words disappear.

"Soitlooksthisway" instead of: "So it should look."

Sometimes it is still o.k. in the preview of the document, but the spaces have disappeared on the website. At other times in the beginning it is o.k. both in the document and on the website, but after logging in the next time, the spaces have gone again (in the document and of course on the website too).

So a lot of work was in vain, and of course I am not willing to add the spaces every time by hand. Please try to find a solution for this problem, otherwise your service will be of no use.
