spam filter just not working at all

I'm constantly getting spam from previously marked 'spam' emails. They are the same cedentials and IP but for some reason are not getting routed to the spam folder instead of my inbox.
When I see an email that is spam I click the spam icon, but it seems to have no effect.

Any advice please????
