Spreadsheets Changes Aren't Saved

I created a new spreadsheet named Big_Ideas.xls. I renamed the default tabs from Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3 to:
1_Audience, 2_Topics, 3_Modeling

I clicked the "Save" button, and the "Uploading" tag appeared, then the Save button Grayed out. I closed the window. From the Documents link, I clicked on the icon to edit Big_Ideas.xls and when the spreadsheet opened in a new window, the tabs read Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3 instead of 1_Audience, 2_Topics, 3_Modeling.

I tried this more than once using both Firefox 2.0 and Camino 1.5.5 on a Mac, OS X 10.4.11.
