Spurious "New device sign-in" messages
Over the last week or so I often seem to get warning messages from Zoho when I log into mail saying "We have detected a new device sign-in to your Zoho account associated with
name@domain.com on Wednesday, May 15 2019 09:02:21 PM BST. " These are spurious, because I'm just logging into Zoho mail to check the spam folders using the same PC and the same internet connection as I've always done, and the reported IP address is my address and the time is exactly when I've just logged in so they're definitely not "hack attempts" by a third party. I've never had any of these during the 2 years or so that I've been with Zoho, until now. I'm not sure precisely how Zoho decides it's a "new device", but I don't have a static IP so I guess that might change now and then.
Has anyone else experienced these "false positives"? They're just a bit of a nuisance, especially as one of my accounts is shared by someone else (though they only use a POP client, not the webmail interface), who is obviously worried by these warnings. Perhaps Zoho's security system been modified recently?
