Square Integration - Stop ZOHO & Square from creating invoices
We use Square to accept all our credit card payments, both invoiced and manually keyed via the online terminal. Some of our customers will pay via an invoice we send them, so a Square payment link on a ZOHO invoice is perfect. But some customers prefer to have us key in the CC info manually. For these customers we would still create an invoice in ZOHO Books manually and handle the CC transaction outside of ZOHO Books. But if I enable the Square Integration, an Square invoice would be automatically created for all the Square sales that were entered manually... resulting in duplication of invoices. Is there a way to stop the integration from creating invoices for those card sales? We would prefer to just create the ZOHO Books invoice ourselves and match it in the banking module with the incoming square fund.
So I guess what I'm saying is I'm hoping to have a Square clearing account that behaves like a bank feed where any credit card payment processed in Square is automatically imported via the integration feed, with any fees expensed to an merchant account/square fees expense account. Then I can easily match the incoming Square Clearing fund with the feed of my business checking account; while avoiding any double invoices.
