Hello everyone,
I am a new user to Zoho CRM (and Zoho One) and I am looking for some initial help/ guidance in Setting up the system so that in can be used it in a Marketing Agency - Consulting environment.
Specifically, I am struggling with the following: I am unsure how to best create/map our services to the system so that we can create quotes and contracts and perhaps combined those with subscriptions /recurring invoices.
What makes this a bit confusing to me is that we offer types of services that I I would like to see reflected in the CRM/ the system.
a) fixed price services - with defined prices, services levels and delivery.
b) service plans - that have a defined contractual period with a defined overall price for that period, and have either quarterly or yearly billing periods. The plans get automatically renewed after the initial contractual period ends.
c) services that have a defined contractual period and two types of costs: a management fee and a variable costs that can change from month to month (think Digital Ads)
d) bespoke projects that are customized to the clients' situation in terms of service delivery
My ideal process would look something like this:
Initial Website Lead - Contact/ Account - Opportunity/ Deal - Project
Our Deal/ Opportunity Stages for most services would look something like this:
New Lead generated
Appointment scheduled
Discovery Call
Proposal/Solution Development
Pitch
Negotiation
Contract Sent
Deal Won / Lost / Delayed
How would we best configure the Deals or Quotes Modules so that we could include the services and service plans?
What is the best combination of modules/ applications to help map/ implement the requirements? - for instance shall we use the product module in CRM for our services and pricing or rather use something like Zoho subscriptions or Zoho Books?
How can we best combined quotes, contracts and recurring billing?
As you can see I am really a bit lost here and would appreciate any help or pointers to set me on the right path...
