Stock Level error

Stock Level error

I have created a sales order for 6 lines

item 1 ~ 5000 units
item 2 ~ 5000 units
item 3 ~ 150000 units
item 4 ~ 150000 units
item 5 ~ 5000 units
item 6 ~ 5000 units

whan I look at the stock for each part, there is no stock on order for item 2:-

item 1 ~ 5000 units on order
item 2 ~   0 units on order
item 3 ~ 150000 units on order
item 4 ~ 150000 units on order
item 5 ~ 5000 units on order
item 6 ~ 5000 units on order

Thinking there was an error with the order. I made a new order for the same amounts, then deleted the first order. Now when I check the stock levels for each part I get the following:-

item 1 ~ 5000 units on order
item 2 ~  -5000  units on order
item 3 ~   300000 units on order
item 4 ~   300000 units on order
item 5 ~   10000 units on order
item 6 ~   10000 units on order


Item 2 now shows a minus value and items 3 - 6 have not removed the stock from the original order.


Can anybody help explain what is happening and why as I need to feel sure the stock levels will be maintained correctly?


Also on Purchase and Sales orders the List price only displays to 2 decimal places, the parts we sell are low value and are priced to 3 decimal places. Can I show prices to 3 decimal places?
