Suddenly unable to send emails via Thunderbird, iPad, Android etc. - receiving emails okay and sending works in browser

I'm getting a timing out error whenever I try to send emails via my iPad or Thunderbird right now. It was working before but seems to have stopped working at some point over the weekend. I have not changed any settings at my end.
I was using two-factor authentication. I turned it off just to test it, although I didn't think it would have any effect. It still does not work.
Previously it was working fine for months and I can still receive emails, so I think the problem must be at Zoho's side.
Any advice on what to do or when it might be fixed?
