Suggestion for Revenue Projections in "Potentials"
In my business (Real Estate), we may get paid on each deal that we close in two parts. The first half payment comes usually months before the second half payment.
Can we add a feature into potentials to account for the fact that when the deal is closed, the payment may come in parts? That way we can use it to forecast revenue more consistently. I'm sure there are other users out there that receive payment the day the deal closes or receives payments in parts.
You could set it up in 6 fields:
Estimated Close Date: MM/DD/YY
Total Payment Amount: $$$$$$
Payment 1 Amount: $$$$$$
Payment 1 Expected date: MM/DD/YY
Payment 2 Amount: $$$$$$
Payment 2 Expected Date: MM/DD/YY
