I have been working with the Android app since it was in Beta. In general, I am very pleased with the initial release. It is simple to use and pretty intuitive. Here are some of the things I would like to see the Dev Team start to work on for the next major update of the Android App:
Integration with the Native Contact app on the phone. When I receive an incoming call it would be nice for ZCRM mobile to compare the number to my contact list and automatically launch the call logging feature.
Improved Calendar Integration. I would like to see dynamic synchronization between the ZCRM calendar and the calendar on my phone. I imagine this can be accomplished by Google Calendar integration. Right now the 6 hour refresh window is simply too long.
Automatic push of data to the phone. Currently I have to manually refresh/update the data from the Web app to my Android device. I would like to see the updates automatically pushed to my phone.
Better integration of ZCRM Tasks with the tasks app on my android device. Again, I bet the simplest way to accomplish this is by improvement the link with Google Tasks and then letting Google handle the behind the scenes work on the phone. But if the ZCRM team can give me a way to have notifications for ZCRM tasks I am all for that.
Again, I am very pleased with the 1.0 release and subsequent updates. Thank you for delivering it earlier this year.
One final note - as a marketing suggestion I think that the Description of the App on the Google Play store needs to clearly define that while the APP is free, users need to subscribe to a paid version of ZCRM. Several of the reviewers are giving the app poor reviews because they feel they are being treated to a "Bait and switch". If you can manage the customer's expectations up front you will get better reviews and I bet you will see more people check out ZCRM and choose the paid service over the free version.
