Suggestions for having two customer types in potentials module

Hi,

We are a small healthcare services company using Zoho professional.

I'm struggling to figure out the best way to set-up our potentials module in Zoho because we offer two primary service-based products and the fee-schedule / data collection requirements for both are slightly different.

Our two primary potentials / customers are:
  1. Patients
  2. Healthcare facilities
Currently for patient potentials:
  • We collect basic information but also collect health insurance information and a few other criteria for the facility we send them to
    • There are 13 custom fields for this type of potential
  • Patients are eventually sent to facilities which are currently registered as 'accounts' in Zoho.  
  • In the pipeline process, the patient is eventually assigned to one of our facility accounts.  
  • When the process completes, the potential is closed and we are able to see all the patients that were sent to the facility.
  • The 'expected revenue' for patients is very different from our other service-line
For healthcare facilities potentials:
  • We sell two services
    • Patient intake processing (the process explained above)
    • Insurance claims auditing (what I'm explaining in the section)
  • For facilities, we need to collect more traditional deal metrics, like bed-size, est. annual revenue, services offered, etc.
    •    There are about a dozen custom fields for this potential
  • New facility potentials eventually become accounts.
  • The 'expected revenue' for facilities we are selling our insurance auditing is completely different from the patient intake processing
This is my current thinking for our Zoho set-up and questions:
  • Use Zoho's 'products' and 'price books' for the two types of services, that is pretty straight forward
  • Since both potential types have 12+ custom fields, is it possible to dynamically generate those fields in the 'potentials' form in Zoho?  Example:
    • Zoho user selects patient or facility for potential deal type
    • The respective custom fields show up for that deal type
    • It would be nice to do this so I don't have two dozen+ fields on screen for two completely different types of customers.  I think this might end up confusing sales reps using Zoho.
  • Is it possible to convert a potential to an account?  This would never happen with a patient potential, but would definitely happen with a facility.
