We’re a small market research firm using Zoho CRM to manage our list of panelists, who complete surveys for our projects & are then paid an incentive for their participation.
Though the "Panelists" module itself has some customization, it's based on the Contacts module.
- Each Project: The amount they're owed for participating in each study. This amount varies by project but is the same for everyone that participates. That is, everyone who participates in Project A will need to be paid $X, but Project B might pay participants $Y
- Year-to-Date Totals: We're required to send tax documentation to anyone who earns more than a certain threshold during a calendar year, so we need a running yearly total of incentives for each panelist
My expectation is that, in theory, we could set up each project as a "Product," using the Product Module. This would allow us to assign an amount (e.g., the incentive) as the "price" of the product, and then track participation in the research as though the panelist had "purchased" the "product."
The question is, how can I track not only the projects in which a panelist has participated ("the products they've purchased"), as well as the incentive ("price") for each, as well as a YTD Total?
