Ok, is anyone else confused by what this means?

I have a few GROUPS under my personal contacts - will the GROUPING disappear?

The "export those contacts now to avoid losing them" sounds like the CONTACTS will be gone.

What's the point in doing this? "Personal" is just a folder of contacts - just like any other folder - so what's to be gained or lost here?

A better explanation in the linked resource would have prevented this question being asked.
