Sync'd calendar entry reminders use email despite popup being set as default in my Zoho settings.

Sync'd calendar entry reminders use email despite popup being set as default in my Zoho settings.

I have an Android phone and I have EAS setup.  I can create an event with a reminder on the phone but when it syncs to Zoho it saves as an email reminder.  In my calendar settings I have popup as default.

Please tell me how to fix this or please address this if I cannot fix it.  I want the default reminder to be a popup.
