Dear Zoho Bookings Support Team,
We'd like to request a feature enhancement for Zoho Bookings that addresses automatic holiday blocking within the booking system.
Current Challenge:
Currently, syncing Google Calendar with Zoho Bookings only integrates the personal calendars. Subscribed calendars containing holiday information (e.g., national or religious holidays offered by Google) are not included. This limitation allows clients to potentially book appointments on unavailable holiday dates.
Desired Functionality:
We propose a new feature that introduces automatic holiday blocking functionality. When a user syncs their Google Calendar with Zoho Bookings, the system should:
Recognize subscribed calendars containing holiday information.
Automatically block dates marked as holidays in those calendars, preventing clients from scheduling appointments on those days.
Benefits:
Effortless Availability Management: Automatic holiday blocking eliminates the need for manual configuration, ensuring your availability is always accurate for clients.
Enhanced Client Experience: Clients can clearly see unavailable holiday dates during the booking process, leading to a smoother and more frustration-free experience.
Streamlined Workflow: Managing both appointments and holidays within Zoho Bookings saves you time and effort.
Implementation Options:
Automatic Detection: Upon connecting a Google Calendar, Zoho Bookings could automatically identify and sync subscribed holiday calendars, automatically blocking those dates.
User Selection: Users could choose which subscribed calendars to sync with Zoho Bookings for automatic holiday blocking.
Conclusion:
Implementing this feature would significantly improve Zoho Bookings' functionality, especially for users who rely on separate holiday calendars. By automatically blocking holidays, Zoho Bookings can streamline appointment scheduling, improve client experience, and save you valuable time.
Thank you for considering this request.
We believe it would be a valuable addition to Zoho Bookings.
Sincerely,
Ram
