Zoho CRM and MA2.0 - How is the new sync working and what is best practice?

Hello,
can someone please clarify how the sync is working.
As I understand it:
  1. All Leads in a module are synced to MA,
  2. Changes in CRM are instantly synced to MA
  3. Changes in MA must be pushed to CRM
  4. Lead-Score, OptOut and Lead-Stage are pushed automatically, if configured in MA sync settings
Is this correct, or am I missing something?

Here are my Questions:
  1. When will Lead-Score, Lead-Stage and OptOut be synced to CRM? At the moment the value changes?
  2. As converted leads are not excluded, when syncing the CRM Leads module, what is the best way to sync the CRM contacts module?
