Task Creation - New Tasks Not Available For Selection

Task Creation - New Tasks Not Available For Selection

Hi,

I have recently created several new Tasks within the setup section (Workflow) and although I can clearly see the new tasks in this area when I then try to move back to a relevant contact and assign a new task none of the newly created tasks are available from the list?

Can you advise what step I am missing?
