Tasks

Hi

Is it possible to assign tasks to other users? I have used tasks in this manner in Salesforce.com but can't seem to get tasks to work in the way I thought they should. Also, I thought full functionality was available even in the free version. I would like to use the outlook interface if at all possible and trial everything on full access before we decide to roll this out to the rest of the company.
