In Zoho CRM, I take my diary call-backs from the open tasks list on the home page. Clicking on the task provides me with all the information I require to make the call or take an action but does not appear to provide a joined-up process to record notes from my call in a form that will show up in the activity reports and diarise any further activity.
My options are to leave the task page and move to the account or contact page, select Log a Call and record the notes on my activity. I then have to return to the account/contact page and the action/task recorded to re-diarise or mark it as complete, all without the benefit of having the time spent on the task recorded.
