Hi
Not sure if I am missing something here.
I can set myself a task to schedule a phone call but I can not make it time dependant.
I can schedule it for Friday but not a specific time.
I also notice that this activity is not shown in the calendar as that only shows "Events" which I do not understand why?
If I made the call an event it would show in the calendar, but a call is not an event. Also some calls you might want to schedule for a certain day without a specific time. This could not be acheived by using an event.
I have used Act! in the past and despite its many shortcomings, the calendar feature was straightforward.
The calendar should have both events and tasks, time dependent and non dependent. That way you can see everything planned for the day.
Whilst I am on the subject it would be nice to have a form of escalation within a task.
For example, lets set a task to call someone next week. The task starts on Monday and ends on Friday. If by Thursday (you determine this by setting a number of days) it has not been actioned then it get escalated by making it a higher priority and send a reminder. Its colour could be changed on the calendar to show this.
We do have a number of processes whereby we have a couple of weeks to get a task done and it would be a cool way of dealing with them.
Any comments welcome.
