Tasks view linked to Jobs - what do you do?
When you create a task - manually or via automated workflow - that is linked to an opportunity/job, the views do not show the underlying account. Therefore, management has a difficult time truly understanding what is being worked on. The reason for this deficiency is because the RELATED TO field is linked to the job, not the account.
Currently, the only options are: create tasks linked to accounts - which seems to defeat the purpose of CRM concepts. OR, manually update each task - this asks a lot of the sales staff using CRM, as well as defeats the purpose of automated workflow to save time.
So my question is: How do YOU organize the open tasks views &/or create tasks related to jobs/opportunities to effectively indicate the linked account?
