template header shows blank fiels

Hello,

I'm customizing the header of a standard template. Normally a blank field should not show up on an invoice.
But when I generate an estimate or invoice the field: %CustomerBState% remains on the invoice.
Before I did not have this problem, but maybe somewhere I changed a setting?
