Does anybody know how to make the notes field for contacts/modules not a text only field as well as attach documents? This currently drives my team crazy not being able to include attachments/email addresses/url's directly to a note. Things like news articles, websites with company news, etc.
Attaching documents straight to contacts/modules is great. Often times though attaching a pdf or excel file to a note is a must and a feature other CRM's offer. (see attached). Adding documents to contact as opposed to a note serves a much different purpose. An attachment currently has no context or description as to what is or why its there. Rich Text with attachments would solve this problem.
Basically entering notes should function similar to creating this post. See attached images.
Is this currently a feature or in the roadmap?
